Red Lily Vineyards is committed to a single goal -- producing the finest Spanish-inspired wines possible. We fell in love with Spanish wines years ago, particularly Tempranillo and its brooding, earthy character, and chose to make these wines our focus. Red Lily Vineyards is named principally for Bolander's Lily, a rare species of red lily found in the neighboring Siskiyou Mountains. However, it also has another, more special meaning. Our daughter is named Lily and among her many, incredible attributes, she shares our love of wine.
Found this place while driving through from Crater lake to Eureka, although needed a slight deviation to get there. Benefit was it was open by 11 and didn't require reservations during the Covid 19 Pandemic. So glad we found it, very cute setting near the river. They gave us the wines in test tubes and we bought a boxed lunch then headed down to the tables alongside the river. Wines were very good Spanish stye, boxed sandwich was good as well!

Quady North is a family owned winery specializing in Syrah, Viognier and Cabernet Franc. Our Jacksonville tasting room offers over 12 different wines, with enough variety to suit every interest. In 2012, Quady North was named Oregon's "Winery to Watch" by Wine Press Northwest, and our 2008 Cabernet Franc was America's best, as named by Wine and Spirts.
My husband grew up in Applegate and we had our wedding in Jacksonville. We love Herb Quady the vitner and wine maker and love quady north wine. This last visit, we tasted roses, had a couple of glasses of pistoletta and brought a box of sushi with us from the sushi shop up the street. We were well taken care of and felt safe. She ran the whole place by herself and did great. We drink lots of Herb’s wine.
