Very interesting piece of history to visit. The place is kept very clean. Toilets and restaurant areas spotless. The tour is amazing. We utilised one of the guides for around 35 euros. So glad we did.

All I can say is wow! Well I can actually say more lol. This entire experience was truly amazing. I can't believe how I lucked up on this awesome experience. Everything ran smoothly. Like no issues-well except for the one time the driver dropped me off at the wrong hotel after the balloon ride. I told him it didn't look like my hotel but he insisted. But besides from that everything was perfect. I was picked up from my hotel in Istanbul and dropped off at the airport. I was picked up once I landed. Took an hour drive directly to start the red tour. I had a great tour guide name Torgor(?) I just remember him saying his name sounds like tour guide lol. His energy was amazing and he was just filled with so much historical information. We visited Pigeon Valley, Goreme Open Air Museum, Cavusin, Devrent Valley. We saw Pasabag, Fairy Chimneys and Love Valley. We had an air conditioner van to take us from place to place. We visited Avanos to a Ceramic Pottery shop. It was cool I was able to get hands on and make pottery out of red clay. We stopped by a nearby restaurant to have lunch which was included. We were done with the tour by 4pm. I stayed in Cappadocia View Hotel. It was ok and basic. The roof top has very beautiful views of everything. With free time I booked a Turkish dinner dance performance in a cave which I highly suggest. The next morning by 430am was picked up for the air balloon tour. This experience was completely amazing. After getting dropped off at the wrong hotel, I found my way back and was able to catch a traditional turkish breakfast at the hotel which is included. We had another awesome guide name Bidom(?) as our guide for the Green tour. We also visited Pigeon Valley again which was cool because I spent time in a different area and Goreme Panorama. We also visited Derinkuyu Underground City which was so cool and amazing. We visited Selime Monastery which was a very steep hike but beautiful especially the views; and Ihlara Valley in which we had lunch at a restaurant right off the river which was included. The food was delicious. Our guide was awesome and was very informative at every place we visited. Once the tour was over I was dropped off back at my hotel to wait for pick up to take me to the airport. Once I landed in Istanbul I had another transportation back to my hotel. Absolutely amazing experience. I wish it was an extra day added for a morning to watch the balloons from the ground up and to also ride the ATV'S or camels or horses and visit winery's and shops that sells rugs haha. But I loved it and I highly recommend this package

I have been in many countries but never with tours, this time because of COVID my best friend and I decided to do it this way. Hire a local agency and it was AMAZING! We had the fortune to do Kusadasi, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Antalya, and Myra with Ismail and it was such an experience that I wish he could do all my trips from now on. It was like having a private concierge 24/7! He knows every detail in history, best places to buy, best places to eat! In Capadoccia we were received by his partners and they were also super accommodating and super nice people and the hotel he book us was the must incredible place ever! I can just say that I recommend it 100%, you have to do it! Thank you very much Ismail!

This description was the best choice of what TripAdvisor had. What we actually had was a 16 day private tour of western and central Turkey focusing on archeology and history. There were 5 of us on this fabulous adventure. It wasn't exactly easy because of COVID and the lockdowns for citizens around Ramadan. We had to be tested both before and after the trip even though we are vaccinated and lots of shops and restaurants were closed BUT........ It was the GREATEST trip imaginable! Ertunga made sure we never lacked for anything, found us great restaurants and the accommodations were so special. Still, the highlights were the sites and the learning and the beauty of Turkey. We often had the popular sites all to ourselves. The sail boating on the Aegean Sea was terrific. I could list 100 things that were wonderful. Ertunga Ecir went above and beyond to give our group a superior and unforgettable trip -or-a-lifetime.

Booked through Goodman tours weeks before our scheduled Balloon flight via Viator. Received confirmation, got tickets. Night before our flight we get an email, not from Goodman tours but from Viator advising that Balloon flight has been cancelled due to “overbooking”. Rang Goodman tours, they say cancelled because of bad weather but there were heaps of other balloon flights the next morning. Very disappointed as we went to Cappadocia specifically for the Balloon ride. Could of let us know earlier in the day so we could book another flight. Goodman tours offered a complimentary activity, but if never eventuated. Will not use them again.

Goodman Tours

Ancient Ephesus is the best-preserved classical city in the Eastern Mediterranean and the largest open-air museum found in Turkey. Ephesus has more than 30 buildings and structures linked together by streets that still have the Marks of Ancient Chariot wheels. The Great Theatre is where St Paul preached against the Pagans and where Gladiators once engaged in battle. Designed for theatrical performances and then later alterations allowed gladiatorial contests to be held here. After lunch in a local Turkish restaurant, you will continue to the House of Virgin Mary where Mary was brought to Ephesus by the apostle John after the resurrection of Christ and lived out her final days here. The final place you will visit is the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Ephesus’ Temple of Artemis was built in honour to the goddess of the hunt, and only the foundation and one column remain of this temple which once measured 425 feet long.
