I had a wonderful experience with Hazel who works at Ligia, she’s been a godsend with ordering, collecting and delivering flowers to a friend in Nidri, I’m from the UK and was struggling finding a florists as I don’t speak Greek, she had also arranged the beautiful card and my friend was so touched with the flowers and card delivered, a 5 star service!! I would highly recommend you see these guys, reliable, efficient and well worth getting in touch.

My wife and I have been on lots of walking tours over the years in various cities but I’ve got to say this was one of the most enjoyable and rememberable, Efi is a super tour guide she had heaps of knowledge and was both engaging and informative and and spoke great English. We did the evening tour with wine, I expected a cheap glass of unpleasant wine but was very surprised that we were taken to one of the very nice bars overlooking the square and we were given a really good glass of wine and snacks. I genuinely can’t recommend The evening guided tour with wine more highly, next time we will do the ghost stories evening Tour.

The tour starts following the beautiful sea side road of Fanari with a photo stop at the location of Katavothres and the sink holes, a geological phenomenon first observed in 1835 and the Lighthouse. We continue to the lovely village of Assos, one of the most beautiful villages of Kefalonia. Next stop is the cosmopolitan Fiscardo, a seaside village, which still stands as a model of the old port, untouched after the great earthquake of 1953. Leaving Fiscardo and after a photo stop at the spectacular Myrtos Beach, we will meet another beautiful location surrounded by sea and fir tree cloaked mountains, Agia Efimia - a very pretty fishing village. Continuing we will have the chance to visit two of the most idyllic places, the subterranean lake of Melissani, where small boats carrying visitors to admire the spectacular sight of the stalactites and the changing kaleidoscopic colors of the water and Drogarati Cave, discovered 300 years ago.

This is the second time we have booked accommodation through Avalon Travel. This time we came back to Cephalonia to get married and the gorgeous Nickolette, stamo and Mark took such good care of us and our family and friends whilst we were here. Nothing was to much trouble, they sorted out coach hire for us and our party to and from the airport and to the location of our wedding on the day. The apartments were clean and well kept, we cannot recommend Avalon travel highly enough. Thank you so much. Paul and Hilary.

Well our stay in corfu was amazing,,the hotel,Apollo palace in messonghi was just brilliant. Corfu town was lovely,visited the old fortress,boat trips around the blue lagoon,,we couldn't of asked for more.apart from the airport on our way home,,from getting there at 11 in the morning and flying at 1.30 in the afternoon all we did was queue,starting outside,like cattle.i hope they get this under control for next year.

they blatantly LIE to their customers!!! When you buy their tickets to the Achilleion place..they make it seem like the tickets to go into the palace is included (we asked them 3 times..to 2 different people and they repeated the same thing..that it was included to the price) we go there and we have to buy separate tickets to go into the palace. The lady at the front desk stated that we were not the first people to be duped by this company that they have been LYING TO THEIR CUSTOMERS ALL SUMMER LONG!!!and when we phoned them they blatantly lie and deny that they ever told us that the tickets were included..and even put the phone down on us...soo rude...we wanted a refund...they refused to give us a refund. I just hope anyone reading this will think twice before buying from this company..dont brother they are liars, unorganised and unprofessional!!! I REPEAT DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

We were 4 but the guide only had two on her paper so first they drive off and later they came back and realiser it was us they were waiting for. Everything else was super.

We went to a Kefalonia island day tour, it was a wonderful trip. I forgot my camera on the island and it takes 1.5 hour to travel from Zakinthos to Kefalonia. Adrianna, who was the tour guide for our group helped, called and arranged resturant to keep my camera safe. She insisted not to take any tip and just doing all this by kindness. I end up got my camera back and thank you for being super helpful and took time to sort it out for me even after the trip!
