What an experience with Delhi by Locals! We had two days in Delhi prior to heading to Sri Lanka, and were able to do multiple tours with Pradeep in March 2020. This was right when things began to shut down due to the pandemic but the time spent in India was the highlight of the whole trip. We did a day at the Taj Mahal and Agra fort where we took the train and were met by our guide who took us all around. There were less crowds than usual given everything happening, which gave us room to explore the grounds and experience the majesty of the place. The second day was spent in Old Delhi and experiencing the slums. We got to see the spice market, a service at the Sikh temple, traveled the underground, drank chai and stumbled on a Bollywood filming. At the slums it was amazing seeing the work that Pradeep does with Learning by locals and getting to meet the students and all the kids so willing to practice their English with us. We got to experience the history, culture and human connection that I feel is at the heart of any great trip. I would highly recommend any experience offered by Pradeep and Delhi by Locals.

I had booked the private tour of Royal Mysore with Five senses tours and we had Satish as our guide. It was an amazing day. Satish was a fantastic person with immence knowledge. He was also very caring and took very good care of us who were all first time visitors in India. Mysore was incredible and the palace is no less than Taj Mahal. We also saw other parts of this old kingdom like the old bazaar and few more palaces. The lunch was fingerlicking. Satish had suggested traditional Mysore meals and it was a great experience. Go ahead and book this whenever you are in India! Fully recommended.

I and wife went with Raj tours and travels for two days in Jaipur.... Shakeer is very friendly, informative and helpful. I had a car so Shakeer helped with a tour guide in Raj Verma.... Raj ji was like family for 2 days, answering each question patently, clicking photos, guiding us with his knowledge and directing to good restaurants... He did not even frown when I got him delayed late in the evening. Best part was Shakeer knew it was our anniversary on 06th Feb and actually sent a small bouquet over.. A heartfelt gesture indeed. I have nothing to complaint for and I'm happy to meet a professional like Shakeer. I mean I'm India majority of the guides are about serving their own interests and Shareek is very fair and not money minded. I found his cost quite reasonable for visiting Amber, Jaigarh, Nahargarh, Jal Mahal, City palace and Jantar Mantar. Thanks Shakeer and Raj Verma. I consider you like brothers in Jaipur and will reach out everytime I'm there. Take care and all the best.

If you would like to see into the real heart of Jodphur If you flinch from “guided tours” that package places into neat itineraries, separating you from what is really happening Then - look no further RAM’S YOUR MAN. He does not impose a schedule but by listening to our own ideas and threading them through with his own vast knowledge he managed to let us feel we were true native inhabitants of this glorious city. And this within a very few days. Not only did he whisk us round the magnificent Merangarh Fort at just the right time to see the spectacular feeding of birds, but finessed our return one magical evening to dine in moonlight on the Fort’s ramparts. Of course we went on foot to back streets bursting with all the goods he helped us bargain for, and further afield in hair raising tuk tuk rides to other markets and emporia. The colours and smells overwhelmingly heady and the noise! I don’t think we would have got out alive without Ram’s reassuring presence! On occasions where he didn’t need to accompany us, he still perfected all the arrangements.. unobtrusively and constantly thinking ahead for us. He helped with our onward train journey to Jaisalmer and was there for us once more when we returned for our last few days in Jodphur . Finally he waved us off at the station itself, having garlanded us all, and ensuring we would never forget such a perfect adventure. Sent from my iPhone

We booked the night food tour as part of our holiday itinerary. We did not know what to expect but it was a real WOW. Our guide was enthusiastic, energetic and took care to listen to what we liked and did not like. We visited about eight food providers including many 'famous' stalls. We ate in back streets that we would not have usually entered and ate food we would not have had the confidence to try without the reassurance of our excellent guide. As we moved around the city between food vendors we were introduced to a new 'sport' - crossing Jaipur's busy and chaotic roads. Here again we would not have tried this without the assistance of our guide. This really is a must do - you will not be disappointed.

This was my first ever river rafting experience and I am glad that I choose to go with White World Expeditions. Courteous, informative and welcoming staff. I found out about them online and went in person to book my rafting for 10 KM, but after speaking to them for just few minutes I decided to go with 26 KM one for the next day first in the morning. I paid and left for the day. Next day morning there was a reminder call and when I reached on time everything was ready, the vehicle, the equipment and the guide who was going to take us through the rafting. Oh boy, it was a wonderful experience from the start, when we reached the spot two more participants joined me and total we were 3 with one guide and one additional guide following us on a Kayak. The vehicle dropped us and left to the end point. Our guide gave use the personal floating devices (PFD), a paddle and a dry bag. We were briefed about the techniques on how to hold the paddle, how to paddle, what are different call outs, how to respond, safety tips for about 20 mins and then we were asked to board on and start the rafting. It was overall an 3hr+ memorable rafting experience which I will remember for a very long time. The guide had a go pro and recorded during the rapids, over all we had about 13 different rapids. I without any second thought paid and took the video clips. Overall a great experience with White World Expeditions. I do not want to compare then with anyone else as I have not tried anyone else or even made an attempt to talk to anyone else before I booked rafting with White World Expeditions, my first interaction and experience were so good and I would definitely recommend this to any one looking for River Rafting in Rishikesh.

Mercara Gold Estate is a beautiful 12-acre estate located 8 KM from Madikeri. Whilst coffee was growing here since the 1960s we acquired it in 1998 and began a process of transformation by organising it into a well laid out farm with a wide array coffee, spices and fruit trees. Our vision was to develop Mercara Gold Estate into a fully-integrated unit, we began processing and roasting our coffees on the estate. We follow all time-tested processes with passion to produce our own range of boutique style coffee and well-balanced blends.
