This afternoon we have been to Tunnels Beaches, first carved out in 1823 by Welsh miners, it took 2 years for the tunnels to be carved out, and they also built 3 tidal bathing pools 2 for the ladies and 1 for the men, sadly due to the strong tides only one pool remains, great place to spend a couple of hours

Mullacott Equestrian Centre

Went on a beach ride and both the staff and horses were brilliant. I was on the lovely Charm who was keen to get onto the beach but not at all silly. It was a relatively small group with only 2 other people, plus the instructor and another staff member. We went for a nice ride through the dunes before going down onto the beach. When on the beach, we walked down to the water and the horses had a walk and a splash. We then went for several gallops. The horses were all keen but had suitable breaks so I didn't once feel out of control! I would definitely recommend Mullacott and definitely come again :)

These gardens are so well maintained and have such a beautiful display of plants - especially in the summer, they are a delight to visit. The bandstand makes a wonderful centrepiece. You can use one of the many seats or sit on the grass for a picnic. An ideal spot.

Spent a couple hours in Lee. Mum, dad and 2 boys plus dog. Lovely place as always. Wish the derelict hotel could be sorted out. One of my favourite seaside places to visit.
