Horwich (/ˈhɒrɪtʃ/ HORR-itch) is a town and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. Historically in Lancashire, it is 5.3 miles (8.5 km) southeast of Chorley, 5.8 miles (9.3 km) northwest of Bolton and 20 miles (32 km) northwest of Manchester. It lies at the southern edge of the West Pennine Moors with the M61 motorway passing close to the south and west. At the 2011 Census, Horwich had a population of 20,067.

The Brewery Bar is the first of the Blackedge Brewing Company’s tap bars serving up 7 Cask Ales, 10 Craft Beers plus 7 Craft Ciders & fantastic range of Artisan Spirits, Wines & Soft Drinks. Locally produced butchers pork pies & a range of stunning snacks to make your afternoon a real treat. The bar is kitted out in a rustic industrial style & based directly above the Multi-award Winning Blackedge Brewery. A CAMRA Pub of The Year Winner in 2019 the bar is a superb place to enjoy good beer & good cheer. There is a cosy beer garden to the rear & during the warmer Months a pop up beer garden known as the ‘Yard Of Ale’ adds extended outside seating to the rear whilst German festival tables & benches fill the front of the Brewery. The entrance area has viewing windows so the Brewery can be seen in all its glory plus a wall filled with the Awards the Brewery has received over the years.

We have over 640 jars of sweets, sold by weight and over 1200 products, including American and world wide products, slush, popcorn and ice cream.

Regular in here, great beers, ales, gins and fantastic staff, would thoroughly recommend. Relaxed atmosphere, no trouble, a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of pubs.

We are a family run, family friendly, indoor play centre, suitable for children up to 11 years of age. We host traditional birthday parties for a minimum of 10 children. First time visit after lockdown and quite a bit has changed. Distancing markers, table service which was very prompt especially the food delivery! Staff checking up on you every 20 mins if you needed more drinks ect Cameron the manager and Danielle popping around chatting with all patrons and a friendly atmosphere with no crowds and fully booked on tables luckily we booked a few days in advance! All staff had masks, gloves, hand sanitiser ect provided. Sadly unlike other pubs/bars on the street this one is taking our safety seriously Thanks again for having us! We will be back!!! :)
