Ooyama Shrine

Ooyama Shrine is one of the oldest shrines in Innoshima of Hiroshima, which was established in 773 and is enshrined on a hill overlooking the sea. Since long ago, it has been worshiped by many people along with Ooyama Zumi Kami. It is famous as the Kami of the ear and the only bicycle shrine in Japan.

Peace Clock Tower

Located inside the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, this monument is famous for it chiming every day at exactly 8.15 when the explosion happened in Hiroshima. Located close to the A-bomb Dome, the Peace clock is twenty meters tall, the three twisted iron pillars symbolizing hands joined in prayer for peace to reign in the world.
