Real Carnaval place any day of the week with plenty of shops open there with long hours of operation Plenty of shops selling local specialty food like unagi and anago ( Gresham water eels) Many restaurants serving authentic Japanese food and plenty of souveneer s shops!!

It's free and it's the first spot to shot your first photography of the castle of Himeji. You can also see the atmosphere of the central road. The place to be before walking in the town.

Just southeast of the castle grounds, Shiromidai Park offers a unique view of Himeji Castle in between the tails of recreations of the fish decorations used on the castle roof. You can get yourself in the picture, too, doing great poses below the castle on the handy rock wall. You might even catch someone getting her wedding photos in a beautiful kimono. Or try it yourself. I came in the morning around 10:00, and the castle was shining in the sunlight. What a sight. Check it out yourself.
