This was our second visit but the first was over 25 years ago and it's changed a lot. Entry is free and there's plenty of parking at the rear of the museum. We used to work for the NCB/British Coal and found the exhibition on the history of coal mining in the area fascinating, it's unbelievable how the industry transformed the people, villages and towns around Cannock Chase or the impact it had in terms of canals & railways. The other section I found most interesting related to the old shops, schools and buildings which have now gone but are part of our local heritage. I heartily recommend that anyone who has grown up in the Cannock area should visit this museum and relive some of their past, especially if you're over 60 (but kids will love some of the other exhibits) .

Great football stadium, good prices great to take children. Also has bar and function rooms. All reasonable prices.

Mu goodness we live walking distance away for 30 years......never visited...along comes 2 grandsons,....our first visit today was fantastic...... great atmosphere well organised, exciting races, good seating, such fun! The boys, and nanna a d gra dad loved it!

Manjit,his mother & father ,son Aaron really do work hard ,it's a lovely friendly gin bar with so many to choose from ,try the rattlers too,it's yummy Try the bar next door The Smokehouse ,great atmosphere ,really chilled atmosphere,great food & great prices .
