Hebi is a prefecture-level city in northern Henan province, China. Situated in mountainous terrain at the edge of the Shanxi plateau, Hebi is about 25 miles south of Anyang, 40 miles northeast of Xinxiang and 65 miles north of Kaifeng.

Huge mountain park about 40 minutes drive from Hebi. Historical buildings and caves, South Sky Gate (Nantianmen 南天门), horse riding, archery, small glass bridge and a long mountain slide.

Youli Castle is important for two aspects: for being the place that the first Zhou dynasty king Ji Chang (Zhou Wen-Wang) was imprisoned and humiliated by the last Shang king Di Xin, making it effectively the place where the first historical dynastic takeover of China was instigated, and for being the birthplace of trigram divination, which is a significant part of Daoist mysticism.
Apart from the grand centerpiece statue of Wen-Wang standing over a ba gua, there are many statues of the heroes of the great war in which the Zhou dynasty defeated and replaced the Shang dynasty, and a tomb mound where Wen-Wang's murdered son Bo YiKao was supposedly enshrined. The grounds themselves are a pleasant environment to stroll around. Lots of bagua divination shops around the area too. Probably best to get there by taxi, and wait at the main road for a north-bound bus on the way out.

My local relatives, my girlfriend and I visited there on Oct 02, 2017.Park was indeed small but not only the scenery was beautiful, but also facilities there were well equipped,inside on the foothill there was a hotel, a parking lot, a square,an open stage, and even a wine cellar(in the cave).
We 6 people were charged an entry fee of ￥250 RMB total(50 per adult and 25 per child). Weather on the hill was awful that day, cold and humid. As we climbed higher, wind was getting much stronger, and not safe for us to go on to the top,so we took some pictures and went back. Not a perfect trip though, wish better luck next time

The museum mostly celebrates the local people of Hebi and the good work they do, which is nice but perhaps not very interesting for visitors. My favourite part was the photographic exhibition on the second floor, with lots of photos of Hebi, past and present. The building itself is impressive.
