Spoke to the chap behind the counter in my very poor French and he immediately switched to English. Bought tickets to the (so new I can't find a listing for it) Secrets Sous la Ville tour and got a free map of the village with all the major sites marked. Left my driving license as 'deposit' for the audio guide. Altogether very friendly and helpful
