We hired a car from Europcar as part of our Guernsey trip booked via Secret Escapes. Absolutely no complaints; we were able to upgrade to a bigger car free of charge upon arrival, we didn't have to fill the tank of petrol up before returning the car, and the whole process of collecting and dropping the car back was quick and easy. The young lady working on the desk at Guernsey airport was very polite, friendly, and helpful. Driving around Guernsey was a very pleasant experience too - free parking! 35mph speed limit around the island, sometimes 25mph. And everyone is very courteous and patient on the roads. One tip is to hire a small car if you can! Most roads around Guernsey are TINY. We drove very carefully and managed to return the car completely unscathed, but we had quite a few close calls and many walls and cars we saw around the island are scraped!! Definitely take out the £20 insurance if you can!
