I just came back from a ski trip with friends and family and we stayed at Shahdag Hotel. I have to say that it was one of our best vacations ever!! The hotel and staff are wonderful and accommodating, and includes a beautiful breakfast every morning (egg station, pancake station, fruits, cheeses, cereals, and about 50 other things) My whole family enjoyed the breakfast and it was a great way to start a day of skiing. The rooms were great, extremely comfy beds and giant balconies! We actually had snowball fights on the balcony. :-) And the skiing.... amazing! Some of us are intermediate skiers and were able to enjoy the whole mountain, while others had never skied and took private lessons with the instructors (who are top-notch and so nice) We loved everything and are actually planning our next trip there soon!!

Afrudja waterfall - biggest in Azerbaijan. Lunch in the forest, the via amazingly beautiful road, through the canyon with 600 meters walls and the 90 meter waterfall at the end- will make this tour unforgettable.

Not worth to travel from Baku to see only waterfall. but way to waterfall is stunning. Eye catching scenes. Waterfall is small. There is restaurant and wash room facilities available. When you on the way to Afruca waterfall half way thru you will see horse ride and Gachrash forest. Must visit place if you are planning to stay in Azerbaijan more than 2days.
