The atmosphere was brilliant, a real old school boozer. Plenty of banter, ribaldry and general rumbustiousness. My fellow customers were very sociable and after the events of the day before getting there it lifted my mood immeasurably. Jon and Rachael have created somewhere that is a pleasure to visit even given the 10pm closing and the no two households mixing indoors. As Arnie once said; I'll be back!

Love visiting the prom/ new fort tavern especially when the underground bunker is open which tends to be when the regatta is on. The area is open, clean with nice flowers planted while its steeped with history and you can get close to some of the old guns. Ok cafe and two play areas

One of the biggest Gurdwaras in Europe hosting fantastic facilities for Sikhs and the wider community, including three Meditation Halls, two Langar Halls, fully equipped Lecture Theatre seating 140 people, ICT suite, Library, Meeting Room, etc. Nursery provision to be developed. The compex also includes Sports fields and Sports Hall (home of Guru Nanak Football Club, Kabaddi, Karate, Basketball, etc), Guru Nanak Day Centre for the Elderly, and Punjabi School at weekends.
Just a totally wonderful experience. Made to feel welcome the moment we entered. Sat in on the 'service' in the peace of it all. Everyone there had a smile for us and I was surprised at the relaxed feel in the prayer room. We were then invited to have food and sat on the floor to enjoy the hospitality given.

A fantastic park with a cafe, visitor centre, parks for the kiddies and a few walking trails. There is also the old site of Randall Manor as well as the old RAF air raid shelters within the Country park boundary. The views around the park are stunning in every season. If your local, make sure you spend a day just walking around this great park.
