Парк Наньдахэ по своей территории очень огромный. Здесь не только множество различных головокружительных аттракционов, но и Озеро Лотоса, Храм Двух святых, песчаные и травяные горки, пляж. Зная, что парк очень большой мы предложили воспользоваться услугами электромобильчиков. Аренда чуда автопрома обойдется вам в 40 юаней в час. При этом берется залог 200 юаней. Мы, например, катались на машинке 5 часов и, следовательно, нам сдачу не вернули. Моя мечта была прокатиться на «Американских горках», учитывая, что в прошлом году я прокатился на «Русской» (аттракцион на котором пассажир делает мертвую петлю). Но когда мы подъехали к «Американке» там была небольшая очередь. Это поначалу она казалось небольшой…Дело в том, что данный аттракцион может одновременно принять всего 20 человек. При этом минут 10 идет подготовка к его запуску. Вначале все снимают предметы, которые могут слететь во время головокружительных трюков, в том числе и обувь без ремешков и завязок. Затем очень крепко фиксируют специальным фиксатором. Ведь летать придется и вверх ногами. 1,5 часа в очереди среди аборигенов тянулись очень медленно. Но удовольствие того стоило. Столько адреналина я не получал никогда в жизни.
На многих форумах я читал, что в данном парке негде покушать. На самом деле это далеко не так. Здесь практически на каждом углу делают шашлычки, продают воду и холодный чай. Конечно, полноценных кафе мы не нашли, но перекусить, чтобы не умереть с голоду можно.

Lots of animals. Most of them you can feed or touch for a price (10-20Y). For the same price you can take a picture with animals or feed them. Most animals have space to roam around. Drive through or take a train through with places to get off. The animal show was heartbreaking. The coyote and some other animals had broken spirits and hated doing their "tricks". The only ones that seemed to enjoy performing were the dogs. Lots of places to eat (mostly junk food). There is a reasonable restaurant where the rides are. If you like zoos, you will like this place. If you love animals, don't go. Save up and go on safari in Africa.
TIP: Your kids will want to feed the animals. Bring veggies (carrots, cucumbers, etc. for the rabbits, kangaroos, etc. and leafy veggies for other animals such as giraffes). Save money and don't buy animal food there.
TIP: Go off season when there are fewer people. The animals are still there but less crowds.

The Great Wall at Dongjiakou is not for everyone. There is an initial one to two mile hike, sometimes steep to reach the wall. Those with difficulty walking will only be able to view it from the bottom. This section of the Great Wall is about 50 kilometers from the town of Qinhuangdao. You will need an in the know Chinese driver and or guide to find this location. Whether it is worth it to you to take an entire day or two to walk on a rugged and only sparsely restored part of the Wall is a personal decision you must make. For me and the few friends who accompanied me, this was a GREAT side trip to an area we know is authentic and original. We loved it. The hike in and climb to the wall can be done at a leisurely pace, so those who are a bit older, but able to walk and step up about 8 to 12" at a time will be able to make the climb.
Take some snacks and water along. Not many places to eat, but as always your guide will be able to find some kind of restaurant in town, you just might not want to eat there. Again this depends on how adventurous you are in your eating habits. If you are picky or fastidious be sure and bring lots of snacks along with you. Enjoy!

Wow! We were admired to see the peace of real forest inside the park fence. It was so interesting and pleasant. Inside park there is a temple. It's funny, not old and have no real aura but funny enough :)
