Had the steak and ale pie, chunky chips and peas with gravy which was delicious. Good selection of draught beers and friendly staff and it also felt safe with Covid measures in place.

Lady Heyes has improved considerably since the last time I visited it. Now is a modern visitors and glamping centre with room for camping too. Modern childrens adventure centre is ideal for the younger children. Still has antique and craft shops. The tea shop is a delight. Above standard with extensive range of meals and beautiful cakes. Close to a number of important walking paths such as the Sandstone Trail it's facilities provide everything you could want for a relaxing holiday. The traditional and beautiful Cheshire village of Frodsham is nearby and can be reached easily on foot or bus from a nearby stop. Delamere Forest is just up the road. Lots of traditional pubs and restaurants available.
