We went last week-end for a 3 hours expedition with 2 kids and definitly would recommend it as we all had fun and enjoyed the ride with the lovely Huskies and the kidness and passion from Tapio. He definitly makes all so that you feel confortable. All was great, from discovering the dogs, the ride, the snack by the fire (quite friendly and kids enjoyed the pancakes a lot) and on top we have been lucky with wonferfull snowy landscapes from Nuuksio under the sun.

Haagan Alppiruusupuisto

Reviewed By MikaelF413 - Vantaa, Finland

Haaga Rhododendron Park is a public park located in the district of Haaga. The park has two parts: the evergreen rhododendrons grow in the southern section, while the azaleas grow on the other side of the power lines in the northern section. Floral splendor can be viewed from wooden pathways and platforms. The peak blooming season is in early June. On our visit, the blooming was a little bit late. The spring was colder than average. Also, high pine trees create a shading canopy for the flowering plants. Thousands of Helsinki residents and gardening enthusiasts visit the park each year to witness the spectacle.

Every tour we signed up for was filled with adventure and local knowledgeable guides that gave great history on the area. From the snowshoeing up to the Kuers, up through Äkäslompolo with salmon soup to the evening northern lights tour, I loved every one of them! Highly recommend this company! Thanks to Keijo, Artturi and our northern lights tour guide! I learned so much about the beautiful country of Finland.
