The Clos Normand - Fondation Claude Monet

Reviewed By maryjanelk - Pleasant Valley, United States

We visited these gardens in Ocober, and I was was not sure if we were going to be able experience the beauty of the gardens that I had read about. Despite the time of year, there were many beautiful flowers. Monet designed the-gardent to be beautiful year round. There were only a few waterlilies in bloom, but the flowers surrounding the pond provided a perfect "frame" for my many photos. I would like to return each season to experience this artists living picture!

Remarkable, rare and exotic trees, an orangery, a potager enclosed by canals and walls with espaliered pear trees, a condiment garden, flowers and blooming shrubs in every season…brighten up this park.
