Daglik Frigya Yazilikaya Vadisi

Reviewed By 797ebrua - Ankara, Turkey

The Valley of Phrygian nearby Eskişehir hosts a very interesting ancient remnants of Phrygia such as an altar, cistern and aqua-duct system, acropolis, and famous inscribed rock (Yazılıkaya). Phrygians are one of the ancient people of Anatolia (8th century BC). The Yazılıkaya area is one of the significant remnants of the Phrygian Era. In addition to the ancient historical features, it is a very nice trail to walk and take photos around. At the beginning of the valley there is a cafe operated by local people and offered local delicious pastries and drinks (Tutkun Cafe). You can go there by your car or by a guided tour.
