My kids and wife bought me a 30 min flight experience at Britain’s. We went today and was really surprised that this was infact in a dining room! Don’t let that put you off though as the setup is first class. Dave was really friendly and clearly very passionate. A cup of coffee later and we were lined up at Manchester airport ready to go. I chose a short flight to Newcastle and off we went. Everything is so realistic, the controls, the noise and the graphics. 30 mins later I touched down safely! Brilliant experience and would highly recommend. Thanks Dave for a great afternoon.

Fabulous Fabrics, haberdashery, sewing classes, patchwork, dressmaking, waddings and great friendly & informative staff. Finish off with a visit to our Lovely Cafe "The Bolthole Cafe".

Visited for the first time yesterday with a friend and we were blown away. What a find!! There is so much fabulous fabric to look at it is mesmerising and the staff were so friendly and helpful. There were sewing groups working while we were there and they all seemed to be having a good time. We also had lunch in the cafe and while it is ‘cosy’ we really enjoyed it, lovely food and friendly service. All in all a fabulous visit and we will definitely be visiting again. A ‘must visit’ for any seeing enthusiast and truly inspirational.
5. Acorn Brewery
On the last Friday of every month, Acorn Brewery opens their door to the Acorn Beer Club. you are invited to join the team to enjoy a great pint of real ale, as well as learn from the team during the brewery talk.
