We saw some lights and Armann was amazing. It seems many people on other tours weren’t so lucky but I think it was our guides local knowledge that nailed it for us. What’s more we had a running commentary about the old Gods and local history that was fascinating. I would do this tour again.

Jökulsárlón is one of the best known glacial lagoons in Iceland. The name means glacier-river-lagoon and is located in the southeast of Iceland in Vatnajökull National Park. The area is unique with blue and white icebergs in the lagoon, and the glacier, Breiðamerkurjökull, in the background. As a day trip it’s a quite a long drive for a day but definitely well worth it. We also make stops along the way, depending on daylight in winter time.

The experience of hiking to Fagradalsfjall was truly one for a lifetime, and James was the perfect guide....we did not know what to expect, but we couldn't have asked for more. James was extremely experienced and knowledgeable. From the minute he picked us up in Reykjavic, through the entire hike up to the volcano, James was truly the perfect guide. Once we got to the top viewing point for the volcano (and were in total awe of what we were seeing!), James even provided us with coffee. We hadn't even expected to go on this hike, but it ended up being the absolute highlight of our entire trip. If at all possible, book this experience with James/Glaciers and Waterfalls - there are two other big companies monopolizing tourism in Iceland, but we couldn't have been happier with James and loved the small, personal attention he was able to provide to us. Don't miss this!!! A+++

Ahhh. The tour not taken. I jumped on a great last minute airfare to Iceland from the US and had little time to plan, so I was panicking, a bit. I read reviews and decided to contact two tour companies, one being Hidden Iceland. They responded immediately with a detailed outline of a private tour that met EXACTLY what I asked for in terms of sights, type of accommodation, level of activity, adventure and flexibility specific to a mom traveling with teenagers. Family friends learned of our trip and decided to join us and ultimately the decision was made to self explore. However- this company’s response was very impressive and I will be envious of those who take a vacation with Hidden Iceland!

Highly recommend this tour if you planning to visit Iceland. Jens, one of the owner of this company is an understanding, responsible, professional and knowledgeable guide. We have joined the aurora and glacier tour in Feb 2020 and it was an unforgettable experience in my life. Just 3 of us in the group, like engaged a private tour. Jens will share the history of Iceland throughout the journey. Sometimes, he might be a bit quiet, but he will be able to answer every question and share the tips with you. Breakfast and dinner were included in the tour and he will stop along the way in town for us to grab the lunch. Breakfast is in buffet style and dinner prepared by the Farmhouse/Guesthouse was really really delicious! The Farm stay and guesthouse were cozy with nice view. The tour is reasonably priced and worth every penny.

This tour was the best thing we did during our travels in Iceland! Thanks to the low tourist numbers we actually had a private tour so it was just two of us with Oddur and Katerina on the glacier that day. We had an amazing time with them, they told us so much about the glacier, took pictures for us and gave us as much time as we wanted. The two are really nice and relaxed, they make you feel safe on the glacier and are just perfect guides! I can strongly recommend doing the tour with them! Thank you guys again for such a wonderful experience!

This was our second tour with Reykjavik Tourist Info and Toni. Again, we were picked up in a nice car and we have been the only ones on the tour. This was probably the best tour I have ever done. We visited 10 or more places, each more beautiful than the one before. When I did my research before our trip, it seemed to me that the tour to this Peninsula isn't as popular as other tours, but believe me, this is one of the best tours you can do. The landscape is unreal and it is definitely worth the money. Once again, I highly recommend Reykjavik Tourist Info, as their service is top-notch.
