This is the 3rd course I have been on this year. First the breadmaking course, then the sausage making and recently the soft cheese, yoghurt & butter making. I have loved all of them. Looking forward to the schedule for 2020 and the preserves and foraging courses....keep them coming, this is getting addictive.

Fantastic workshop! Had a really great day and came away with an awful lot of chocolate as well as the abundance eaten during the session. Nigel and Kate were so friendly and ran a great relaxed session where we were able to learn lots and make a lot of different chocolates! I would highly recommend this to anyone :)

My 2 sisters and I had a private cookery lesson with Anita - held in her own home it was a lovely informal learning environment - and Anita was full of interesting ideas and advice about all things connected with Indian cookery! We learnt how to make Naan (and an amazing way to cook it), 2 types of curry, some wonderful onion and spinach pakora, not to mention rice and potato cakes! Not only were we tasting the dishes as we made them we got to take them home with us! For anyone who loves cooking and wants to learn how to cook 'real' Indian dishes this is a great experience.

Wow! What a most amazing day. This place is a little gem set in the very pretty grounds of Stancliffe Hall. I thought I was a decent cook until I got here! Our tutor and Chef (Masterchef!), Simon was excellent and organised our chaotic family so well. We made afternoon tea including macarons which I was sure would fail as they always do! They turned out absolutely perfect with the masterful guidance of our Chef, as did everything else! The 'school' itself is so well laid out and so clean with all mod cons! Hubs isn't very happy though, since returning home, I want a new kitchen with new appliances. Thank you, Coghlans and special thanks to our tutor Chef Simon for a most enjoyable experience. Can not wait to go again!

This was a birthday surprise for my grown up daughter and her sister. (Susan had even removed the sign on her gate to complete the surprise!) Susan's kitchen and conservatory were decked in festive balloons and bunting. The work table was prepared with bags, stickers, pens and ribbons, and the kitchen area with a good range of flavours, fillings and decorations for the chocolates we would be making. She explained the provenance of every ingredient we used and, being a nutritionist, she was able to go into more depth. It was a fun, gently paced and creative 2 hour experience. Susan was happy to take photos for us.

Had an amazing time on my cooking course, Nigel is a great tutor and very easy to get on with. I did the michelin star magic course. The food i created using Nigel's tuition was incredible. I was lucky enough to get one on one tuition but i dont think this would have made a difference if the course was full. The set up Nigel has in his studio is great. A huge thankyou to nigel for making this course great in such a difficult time. I will definitely be booking on to another one of your short courses.
