It lies on the north shore of the Dornoch Firth, near to where it opens into the Moray Firth to the east. The town is within the Highland local government council area.

We stopped in just before heading back to Edinburgh to find some goodies for family and friends. Great selection of items from body lotion to earrings to beautiful blown glass, and, made in Scotland. A must stop if your visiting Dornoch.

Have been going here for quite some time now, but have never written a review. Every time I have been the food has been perfect whatever I have chosen off the menu. The steak sizzlers are first class and well worth trying. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the premises and toilets are immaculate. Would highly recommend any visitors to the area to visit this hidden gem as the food is excellent.
