For us, Shirodhara and Abhyanga is by far the most deeply relaxing of any massage. And we actively seek out spas that provide this kind of treatment.
The therapist at Nyama is from India and provides a truly authentic ayurvedic massage experience.
Its a must do!

The Spa Manager is a chap called Rio, he is very polite and professional.
The experience starts in the lovely relaxing 'front-office' at Rio's desk with a cup of chilled, refreshing Rosella tea and a couple of spa menus, available in different languages. Rio's expert guidance gradually narrows down the options until having selected your treatment and areas of concentration and pressures you end up with a bespoke option. Then you book your time and day and in my experience it is best to book for the same day, so maybe pop in early on your way to breakfast.
On arrival for your treatment you meet your therapist and are ushered into your changing room, and put on your robe and slippers, you are then taken to your treatment room, a joint one for my girlfriend and me. A semi-open room allowing you to hear the ocean waves and bird song.
Well the treatments are bliss and send me to sleep every time. The treatment finishes with the 'ting' of a small bell. The therapists then leave you to get up at your leisure, and when you are ready you ring the bell and in comes a cup of lovely ginger tea.
Worth every cent. And worth going as many times as you can.
As a sub-note, once Rio had discovered how much we liked the Rosella tea, he had a bottle sent to our villa every day, it is touches like this that make Velavaru so special.
Thank you Suhjau for your Delivery.

Kandiland

Our little guests are just as important as our adult guests. The Kandima Kids Club is run by a dedicated, multilingual team of fully certified child carers and offers a daily programme jam-packed with fun and informative activities.

My daughter loved going to Kandiland. The activities undertaken there are enormous, not just for small kids, older kids too. The activities are also adjusted to weather, mood of the children (for example: January 1 all the kids were tired, so the initial program was adjusted accordingly) and the staff are all extremely great. Gentle with kids, fun, inventive, you name it. And nothing is too much for them, they are extremely flexible. I highly recommend it

The diving experience at the Dhigali was absolutely amazing.
Not only the facilities are of very high standards but most importantly the team is awesome. All were very professional, knowledgeable, inspiring and friendly.
We have been diving a few times already in the Maldives, but nowhere we have experienced such attention to detail - quality briefings - and attention to safety.
On top of that the diving sites are of absolute beauty.
We have been very fortunate to enjoy such beautiful dives with a great team.
We hope to come back soon.
Niko,Yann and Caroll - keep up the excellent work.
