A historical site of an Ancient City in 3rd bc. A huge place to roam around but interesting. Make sure you bring your hat and sunscreen as no trees or shade while you look around.

About 10km from Pamukkale Travetines is the tranquil little village of Karahayit. It basically has one long main street closed for traffic where you can walk and discover a variety of little shops , selling all kinds of products from fresh produce to clothes and linen. Also a variety of places to eat something. At the end of the road is the thermal springs where there are benches to sit on and little tea shops. It is a lovely experience to walk in the pools with the hot water. No entrance fee.You can get a mini bus from Pamukkale or Denizli (26km). I can highly recommend a visit to this lovely village.
