I have visited this place since I was old enough to walk. The track has really been improved since Brett Deyo has taken charge. For anyone who loves dirt track racing, I believe this is one of the top three tracks on the east coast.

Nemours Estate

Opening April 1st, 2021 Owned and developed by our founder, Alfred I. duPont (1864-1935), Nemours Estate comprises an exquisite 77-room Mansion, the largest formal French gardens in North America, a Chauffeur's Garage housing a collection of vintage automobiles used on the Estate, and nearly 200 acres of scenic woodlands, meadows and lawns.

We had a few hours before our return home and stopped at this museum. Given the cold weather, we toured the house. It is worth taking a guided tour as we learned so many interesting facts about the family, their possessions and the history of the estate. The furnishings are intact to the time when the family lived here which makes it so neat. And Alfred DuPont was way ahead of his time in so many ideas he created for the house and the things he put into it, like a back up generator; controls in his bathroom to make sure tings were working properly; bottling his water, 2 tanks with 1 for back up and so on. Fascinating to hear the stories too.

The Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk is a great place to walk, bike, skate, or sit and people watch. It’s right on the ocean, with great views of the Atlantic Ocean. The boardwalk is loaded with dining, shopping, and more. I highly recommend a stroll.

This large area full of history and government buildings with stunning architecture is a must when you are in Dover! We drove in too late for the tour, but stayed over an hour and a half walking the grounds, seeing so many of the historical buildings and houses. Very well maintained and easy parking when we were there. Kid friendly & a great place for them to run around!

John Dickinson Plantation

Once owned by a wealthy Quaker tobacco planter, this plantation has been converted to a living museum where visitors can tour the grounds and interact with staff dressed in period costume.

Had passed the sign many times never stopped. Glad we finally did. You get a nice film then a tour of the main house guided by reenactors. The plantation is small now but in its heyday was huge. Worth the stop to learn more about a lesser known founding father if our country..

This was an awesome experience! I’m a lifelong fan of NASCAR and this was a bucket list thing. Everyone was so helpful and friendly from start to finish. My spotter, Neal (hope that’s right) was so very helpful. He guided me around the track with continuous instructions on how to get around the track and how to do it faster. I topped out at 133 mph. I can’t say enough about my experience. It’s something I will never forget! Oh, and I’m 70 years old so don’t think you’re too old. Just awesome! Thank you NASCAR Experience!

We have been members here for many years. The music is so inspiring [particularly when there isn't a pandemic!]. They sing the psalms, the gloria, the sanctus, and the kyrie [as they are meant to be!]. The staff and the parishioners are loving, kind, and welcoming.
