We were NOT disappointed. Spent a week in Prague...touring everyday...this tour and especially the guide out shown all the others. Petr truly loves what he does...extremely attentive, was never left “wondering what’s next” or left unattended as in other day tours we took. The sites were amazing in and of themselves, but the refreshments in the back of the van and perfectly selected coffee/dessert stop and wonderful, quaint lunch restaurant were all Petr. Worth every penny (Crown!) ???????? HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

IMPORTANT: WE CANNOT ACCOMMODATE SOLO TRAVELERS FOR THIS TRIP! MINIMUM BOOKING ARE TWO PERSONS. The first stop on this trip is the village of LIDICE. During the Nazi occupation, the village became a world-famous symbol of the suffering of civilians and the monstrosity of the Nazi regime. In 1942 Hitler ordered the destruction of Lidice as retribution against the alleged help provided by the village's inhabitants during the assassination of the SS General Heydrich. After visiting the museum and the memorial, we will travel to Kladno, where a nice lunch will be ready for us at a cosy restaurant. Later we will visit the famous Czech glassworks. We will have the opportunity to admire the skills passed down for generations and shopping in the factory shop. Important: Until the end of April the glasswork is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Those days the excursion is replaced by a visit to the historical brewery with tasting local beers. Sundays are the factory closed all year long.

Inclusions: English speaking guide, Admission fee to Lidice memorial, Entrance fee to Nizbor glassworks, Three-course tasting menu in famous local restaurant with 90 years history with beer or wine or a non-alcoholic beverage, Light refreshment during the journey on board

Prague is a beautiful and unique city with incredible history. It's filled with beautiful architecture, monuments, breathtaking views and hard-working people. By taking this tour we step in like a friend to help you avoid tourist traps, so you can experience Prague in a totally unique and special way. Let us show you the difference between tradition and a trap, and separate the truth from fiction. Our tour will take you away from the main crowded streets so that you can eat and drink with the locals. But our Prague tour is not only about food. You will learn about how our history, culture, food, and drink collide to make Prague such a unique city. As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

My boyfriend and I signed up for the Prague Secret Food Tours for our first day in Prague and it turned out to be a great decision. We ended up having the tour to ourselves, and our guide, David, took us all around Malá Strana. It’s an area we probably wouldn’t have spent as much time in without a guide but I’m so glad we got to learn all about its history. The food we tried was all really tasty and filling. This is less of a food sampling tour and more of a meal tour. No chance you’ll leave hungry from this! David was a great and knowledgeable guide and so fun to spend the morning with. We’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to find out more about Czech cuisine or Prague in general!

Fantastic little tour, just with one other couple so it wasn’t an oversized group at all! It was great to get a better insight into the Czech culture and our guide Karolina really knew the best places to visit that were usually away from the tourist route. 100% would recommend to a friend and would probably go on one again. Adding on the extra drinks package is also worth it as well!

Lena was a wonderful host and we learned so much about the world of truffles. We really enjoyed walking around and watching Lena (the pup) do her job. And, of course, loved the lunch. We've been home less than 24 hours and my husband has already made truffle ghee! Highly recommend for a different type of activity that also allows you to see sights you may not see otherwise.

We took the evening food tour of Prague with Eva and it was amazing. The pacing and amount of time we spent at each venue was perfect. We enjoyed all the food and drinks and believe me there was plenty of both. We took the tour with several friends - total of 6 in our group and there were a total of 9 people on the tour. Highly recommend Eva, she did a fabulous job. I don’t eat pork and another choice was provided to me instead at each stop where pork was served. Started with Czech cheese and pork sausage with beer, then soup, a wine tasting, entree of wild boars or pumpkin ravioli and finally dessert. Dessert consisted of Apple strudel with whipped cream - real cream not a can of chemicals. Plus several of us had an extra glass of wine (free) courtesy of Eva. For a drink we had hot chocolate which was literally liquid chocolate and thick as syrup. Nothing like typical American hot chocolate at all. Same whipping cream and glass of club soda to wash down the chocolate. Bon Appetite!

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with Vladimir. The restaurants he took us to were definitely ones we would not have found on our own, but enjoyed very much. He was also incredibly interesting to spend the day with, as his knowledge of Prague, both of its history and local culture, was vast. He also gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner that evening. I would highly recommend this tour!

Jo was amazing! She really added so much insight and expertise to our trip. We loved the private tour and enjoyed our time with Jo. My only advice to future travelers is to check your email in advance. Jo had sent specific instructions for the meeting location, but I didn't see them until it was too late. Totally my fault and an avoidable situation if I had just checked my email the night before.
