Cupar (/ˈkuːpər/ listen (help·info); Scottish Gaelic: Cùbar) is a town, former royal burgh and parish in Fife, Scotland. It lies between Dundee and Glenrothes. According to a 2011 population estimate, Cupar had a population around 9,000, making it the ninth largest settlement in Fife, and the civil parish a population of 11,183 (in 2011). It is the historic county town of Fife, before the council moved to Glenrothes.

Not only was Raptor World accommodating in allowing me to change my visit last minute they even waited 25min for me to start the Raptor Experience since I was running late. The flight with the Harris Hawk, Barn owl and Tawny owl are something that will forever be the highlight of my trip to Scotland! We had plenty of time with the birds and the whole experience will be remembered and videos viewed over and over for years to come!!! Will definitely bring the family if I am every in Scotland again without a shadow of a doubt!!

Backhouse of Rossie, the place we've come the past few years for their daffodil festival. For obvious reason no festival this year, but they reopened this week, and what a joy the summer garden is! I walked the labyrinth of course, I always seem to be the only one who does, we sat and watched the big carp in the pond while listening to the running water. It is the most peaceful place imaginable. We went round the walled garden twice & it just is a pleasure. Very quiet, being a bit off the tourist track, everyone whizzes past on their way to the coast. The little cafe is up and running, well organised with visors and sanitiser, home grown food, their own wonderful apple juice & excellent coffee. It's the first summer visit for us, it won't be the last.

Feeding the Alpacas was amazing and the obstacle course and the trek were great fun. Grandkids loved it all the staff were brilliant from the minute we arrived made to feel welcome and the delivery of the experience was first class. Highly recommend a visit here you will love it.

We decided to visit the Scottish Deer Centre on a bit of a whim, as we'd previously seen signposts for it. I wasn't expecting much, and didn't really expect that our older kids (aged 10 and 12) would be overly interested. However, we had a really good morning! We bought a bag of feed for the kids to feed to the deer, and were pleasantly surprised that even our germ-phobic 12 year old was happy to feed the deer, having seen that hand washing facilities were available. In fact, she said that she'd had one of her best days ever! The animals are plentiful and seem well looked after, and there was enough to occupy us for a good couple of hours. We somehow missed the demonstrations, but would definitely come back to visit and make sure we went to those. A particular favourite were the otters, who ran over and kept us entertained for quite a while! All in all, a great morning out!

Cairnie Fruit Farm is a long established family run business in Cupar, Fife and is a popular local landmark. The Farm Shop showcases a spectacular display of ready-picked fruit the farm produces, delicious take-away home-baking (made and served daily in the tearoom). The Funyard has many fun outdoor playpark attractions including go-carts and zip wire. The Mega Maze offers hours of fun as does the Pick Your Own fruit.

Visited Carnie Fruit Farm with my grandson, daughter, her boyfriend and my husband. We picked strawberries in the poly tunnels which was lovely and warm as it was a chilly damp day. A beautiful paid play area, we didn’t use it on this occasion as it had been wet and grandson has just started walking. A picnic area. We had food in the cafe at lunchtime, staff were very friendly, our orders were taken and everything was freshly cooked and piping hot. We had different meals and they were all thoroughly enjoyable. We never felt rushed at all. This was a birthday treat which was very enjoyable. On a dry day you could easily spend a whole day. The only thing I found surprising was that adults have to pay to go into the play area as well as the children, which for a family starts to mount up. Seniors and under 3s are free. Carnie offers season passes, which allows you into the play area and gives you 10% off P.Y.O and cafe prices, lots of options offered. This was a lovely family day, well worth the visit.

Visited here today with my 5 year old and 7 year old boys. It was small and didnt take long to get round, but the animals they did have were well worth seeing. The zoo was clean and tidy and good covid precautions in place. Staff were lovely and friendly and we had a great visit. Worth going along to support this wee place while they build themselves back up. We will be back.

First of all, I am only commenting on the cafe/restaurant. My children are grown up, so I have never visited the play area. I have been visiting this cafe/restaurant for many years. The cafe/restaurant is excellent. Very good freshly made food. Lovely cakes and very good coffee. Also the young people that serve are very pleasant and helpful. In the winter, the open log burning stove in the centre of the cafe is brilliant.
