Traditional proper English Pub, beams, ghost and loads of Character, great history as it used to be a !5th century gaol.. Wonderful walk back in time in Crawley which is quite a new town, but on the historical High Street which has some lovely old buildings, definitely a good place to explore if in the area, wonderful staff, they will make you feel welcome and tell you all about the place, at least try the homemade scotch eggs if your trying the main meals, you won t be sorry.. And any of the ten real ales is woth a go but they are happy to give tasters...result...

We should have been in tenerife by now. Holiday cancelled so we ended up here. Chicken wings and haloumi platter, a couple of cheeky chardonnay and Damien looked after us, what a star! Lovely lunch, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Will come again next time we fly out of gatwick
