Escape the hustle and bustle of Dublin City for one day as we take you on a private whiskey adventure to the midlands of Ireland, to the real Irish countryside. As you cruise through rural Ireland, enjoy lively conversation with your Whiskey Specialist Host before arriving at Kilbeggan Distillery, one of Ireland’s oldest distilleries which is still producing their world famous Kilbeggan whiskey. We stop in a great little town after our tour and tasting at Kilbeggan called Athlone, home to Ireland's oldest pub - Sean's. They love whiskey so much at Sean's that they have 2 of their own brands! We'll try them after you've had a bit of free time in Athlone to explore / grab some lunch. Then onto Tullamore Distillery for tour of the working distillery and tasting. We'll have you back in Dublin in the early evening.

Inclusions: A wide variety of Irish whiskey sampled on tour, Admissions to the whiskey stops, Driver/guide, Live commentary on board, Air-conditioned vehicle, Admissions to distilleries with tastings

Exclusions: Lunch

I organized a virtual whiskey tasting for our key customers. John Callely was an incredible host and storyteller - not too mention that he knows everything there is to know about whiskey. I'd highly recommend him for your next corporate event.

This expertly guided road trip, along 1100km of ever-changing landscape, along The Wild Atlantic Way is a great way to explore Ireland. Take in Clonmacnoise, once a huge monastic city; kiss the Blarney Stone and get the gift of the ‘gab’ (talk); handy for getting to know your small tour group. Then how about Kinsale harbour where wild, Red Snapper and John Dory fight it out to be your catch of the day and into The Ring of Kerry, with only the Atlantic separating the 40 shades from the 50 U.S. states. Cool down with Fungie, Dingle’s resident dolphin who came for the fish in 1984 and stayed for the craic or stand on The Cliffs of Moher and feel you’re at the edge of the world. And in between the heritage and culture, there’ll be ceol agus craic (music and boldness), seafood and banter, city (Galway) and island hopping (Aran)and an epic road-trip you’ll never forget.

Sadly, in these uncertain days of Coronavirus, I had to cancel my upcoming tour. The team at Overland Ireland were compassionate and understanding in working out the details so as to minimize losses all around. Flexible reschedule options into next year were offered as well. This is the kind of small company to support.

We just loved everthing about ireland, the friendliness, the fun, the tour guide, the small group travel. The scenery is just breathtaking. The ancient history is just jawdropping i mean these ancient women (queens) had some serious hootspur and gumtion. I mean they went out and did some serious stuff, got involved in wars, sailed ther own ships, left the babies home and got rid of husband who were just superfluous to requirements. I mean kudos to you girls. I know you are not gonna beleive this but we need you back. Northern ireland sad, such a waste of young life. Still feels haunted by the grief. Our hosts were b&b's, they were just delightful, and hilariously funny sometimes. Our tour guide (their were 10 of us) Gabriel was fantastic great sense of humour, very helpfull, fantastic with local knowledge and history. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

It was a wonderful trip and Connemara Chauffeurs was great. Made a few other stops on the trip to see other things. Flexibility and Sean was a fabulous tour guide. Cliffs of Moher is a must see destination. Thank you Sean for an excellent experience touring the coast. I highly reccomend!

5. Cliffs of Moher, Galway - Private Shore Excursion

Dublin Shore Excursions

Nothing can compare to that first time when you excitedly walk towards the viewing point at the Cliffs of Moher. Your gasp of astonishment will cement that incredible spectacle in your memory for decades to come. We can enjoy lunch with ample choice at the visitor centre or at a pub in Doolin - a place that’s famous for its traditional music (at night, naturally). We’ll caress the jagged coastline along The Wild Atlantic Way, one of the world’s most scenic drives, looking out to Galway Bay. Before you realise, we’ve ventured into The Burren, a surreal landscape of bright grey limestone. There is such an energy to Galway city that sets it apart. It is regarded as the most ‘Irish’ city, due to its isolation in western Ireland and the high number of Irish-speakers. We’ll return to Dublin directly. Lying in your bed later, you’ll reminisce over the stories, history, culture you heard raccounted, the medieval castles, and your first glimpse of the Cliffs of Moher.

Inclusions: Air-conditioned vehicle, Fuel surcharge, Parking Fees, Private transportation

Exclusions: Tips, Purchase your own lunch
