The CoCo Comedy Club

One of Cork's best nights out since 2010. With a whole host of professional comedians from the Irish comedy circuit performing every Saturday night, you're guaranteed an amazing night of entertainment. Located upstairs in The Roundy Bar, in the heart of Cork city, The CoCo Club is great value for money at only €10 entry & free pizza at the break.

Went to the open mic on Monday. Honestly, one of the best nights of comedy I have ever been to. The room is gorgeous with the candles and lighting and the comedians were all nothing short of hilarious. Some really great talent in Cork and I am so excited to go again for the professional show on Wednesday!! Cannot believe it’s a free entry, would highly recommend checking it out.

David Syme Concerts

20-25 events per year. Performances by internationally-renowned concert pianist David Syme. Mainly classical music from 19th century Romantics. Lavish dessert buffet with white wine served at interval, included in admission price. 2 hours duration, selected Sundays at 3pm.

This is a truly unique experience and I am so lucky to live within driving distance of Ahabeg and this wonderful man and his lovely wife. You will be spoilt here because not only do you get to listen to David's sublime piano playing in a cosy living room, you also have the pleasure of tasting Suzanne's divine baking, as well as the beauty of the location (in the lee of Hungry Hill overlooking the ocean on the Beara peninsula), the tip-tap of Jess the dog's paws and the delightful conversations and atmosphere. You come for the music but leave filled up to the brim with diverse experiences, a warm heart, enthralled mind and satisfied belly.

Regal Cinema

One of Ireland’s oldest cinemas, the Regal Cinema in Youghal reopened its doors in summer 2018 following a year-long renovation. The refurbished cinema has 2 screens showing the latest Hollywood movies and old classics on state-of-the-art 4K digital technology. The stunning cinema also has a luxury mezzanine level in screen one, a multi-purpose space for events and, for a truly unique experience, cinema goers and walk-in guests alike can enjoy a glass of wine in the new Regal Wine Bar & Café. Built in 1936, many of the cinemas original architectural features have been meticulously restored and some eye-catching, art deco style touches added throughout making this a wonderfully nostalgic cinema experience.

I just absolutely LOVE everything about this cinema! The decor, the staff, the older movies they play its all amazing.. I am always recommending this cinema to people. I travel 25 mins to get here and it is so worth it! My sisters and I went to all the Harry Potter movies when they showed them in Sept and Oct. We looked forward to them every Monday and have to say we were disappointed when they finished. I love sitting in the balcony and bringing in a glass of wine or a hot chocolate it is such a treat. The staff are all so friendly and helpful they couldn't be nicer. I could honestly keep going on about this wonderful place but don't take my word for it go see for yourself you will not be disappointed!
