The Pearl Ellis Gallery is a non-profit society dedicated to the arts in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island.

During these times, it is mandatory to wear a face covering while visiting I-Hos Gallery. We do encourage our customers to follow our social distancing markers on the floor. Only six customers allowed at a time inside I-Hos Gallery. Proper glass guards installed around our counters. I-Hos Gallery presents a collection of traditional and contemporary Northwest Coast artwork, including masks, prints, gold and silver jewelry, wood carvings and more produced by First Nations artists. I-Hos Gallery is Band owned and operated by K'omoks First Nation. Our culture is expressed through our art. We are located between Courtenay and Comox on Vancouver Island, on the site of the original K’omoks Village. We deal directly with all of our First Nation artists and provide you with all legends and artist biographies. I-Hos Gallery is Band owned and operated by K'omoks First Nations and has been est. since 1995.

This is my studio since 2004. A great opportunity to see how a full time artist lives. Managed by my great staff while I run the gallery in Vancouver, South Granville. Prints, Books, original paintings of the Pacific West Coast running 300 to 5400$. I published 6 art books featuring my best paintings. I put in an art walk in the forest nearby, my staff will give you directions.

Contemporary Canadian Artist Shannon Ford shares her paintings of Ocean inspired artwork in her Seaside Art Studio located near the Hornby Ferry on her 60 acre Mangalarga Marchador horse farm. U shaped driveway and ample parking.

Ceramic artist Rachelle Chinnery makes a wide range of painterly porcelain work as well as a unique line of hand-carved porcelain ware. Visit her studio just up from Sandpiper Beach on the south side of Hornby Island. Phone ahead before visiting. Hours may vary. The gallery is open with Covid-19 precautions in place for public safety. You are welcome to visit in small groups. Thank you!
