Lola Fonseca

This store specializes in original hand-painted clothing and accessories that look like art pieces. Customers love the unique designs, with the silk scarves being one of the most popular items.

I happened upon this shop as I was wandering around this section of Madrid one afternoon. The displays in the window caught my eye, so I went in. The man inside showed me many options, and was very pleasant and friendly. The handpainted silk scarves are beautiful, true wearable art. The back of the shop is open, where you can see some of them as "works in progress", there were a number of them drying on racks while I was there. After the purchase, he very carefully hand lettered a gift bag for the scarf as well. Small touches like this are what makes a great shop even better. If you are looking for a one of a kind item, I highly recommend Lola Fonseca. I know that I'll be returning on my next visit!

Macchinine

We opened our store in May 2004, offering the public the opportunity of entering the room of a model car collector. Like in a small museum, almost 5000 small cars are arranged by scale, era, theme or manufacturer, being very easy to find the vehicle that the customer keep in the garage or the one with which he played as a child. The variety of models on sale is extensive, and apart from the latest novelties from Minichamps, Autoart, etc, you can also find vintage cars from brands like Matchbox, Dinky, Corgi, Scalextric and many more. Among the services offered to customers it exist the possibility to locate a particular model, or to book models that are coming, ensuring the customer to get one.

Beautiful store in a great location where you can find gorgeous Spanish products that are not the regular souvenirs.
