Sugamuxi is a region located on the Eastern side of Colombian Andes, it is so called the Land of the Sun and it is main home and Temple of the Muisca people's ancestors, it is also the region of Lake Tota the largest lake in the country (which belogns to a paramo watershed and ecosystem), and located right in the middle of the Tota-Bijagual-Mamapacha paramo complex with nearly 170.000 Ha of potential hiking and exploration areas -with local guides, only through certain paths, and always caring these extremely important and delicate areas-. It is also a region of 13 beautiful towns barely explored by tourism, with a magnificent cultural offer and a superb landscape to enjoy exploring it.
