Splendid couple of hours a few days ago. If it wasn’t for lunch reservation my boyfriend and I would have been sitting there for hours on end. Tucked away in a sleepy town of Brafim sits one of the best producers of vermouth in the country. A comprehensive two-hour (and some) excursion through the history and the production method of vermouth followed by a tasting of 8 products in a leafy courtyard. Special thanks to the knowledgeable and enthusiastic commercial coordinator of Casa Padro, Sinisa Curovic. Well worth the drive from Sitges and the day has gone by rather quickly! Highly recommend

A short tour of the history of Bacardi rum (spoiler alert - the founder was from Sitges), a quick overview of the process of distilling and blending rum, a quick taste to identify flavors, then a cocktail class where we got a lesson about and tried a Cuba Libre and an Old Fashioned, made a Mojito, and for those of use who opted for a second cocktail, a choice of any of these or a daiquiri (my choice). Nice history lesson and tour! There’s also a small gift shop where you can get Bacardi branded cocktail kits and other items.
