Leprechaun and Fairy Underground Cavern

The visit includes 15 minutes of storytelling and an introduction to how the last leprechauns of Ireland became a protected species by the E.U..This is done in the story room across from the cavern at Shalom B.B.You may park there. This is followed by a visit below the ground where leprechauns and fairies converge in the morning as the sun rises. The visit is predominately indoors and perfect for a wet day.

Carlingford to Omeath Greenway

Didn't do the whole walk as unfortunately it started to rain but we walked for about an hour and a half.
This is a great walk if you have a dog as there are good stretches where you can let them off for a good run. The walk itself is nearly all flat which is great for those with walking difficulties and its great to see nature at its best with lots of natural wild flowers and plants. There are some lovely streams coming down from the Mountain which is also handy for the dog to get a drink
Will definitely do this again but will pick a better day

Carlingford Design House

Reviewed By Erica P

This store is an absolute must visit in Carlingford, especially if you're looking for local gifts as a tourist to bring home. I had found them online before we left and walking in I already knew I was going to love some of the jewelry. It's all very well made and I ended up grabbing 4 pieces of matching jewelry to bring home for each female of my family, along with some beautiful porcelain artwork of Carlingford Lough, a scarf/hat set, a notebook and bath soaps/salts to bring back home with me. This was definitely worth the expense, so save your euros until you make it to Carlingford!
