We took a wonderful tour of the Casino; before we came to the island, we thought this iconic building was a gambling establishment based upon the name. Casino means gathering place in Italian, and this dazzling building is just that; the bottom level contains a beautiful art deco movie theater with amazing architecture and lovely hand-painted murals. Interestingly it was created by the same architect that designed the famous Chinese Theater in Hollywood. The upper level contains a grand ballroom that was a gathering place for famous big bands and the upper crust back in the day. You can still see movies in the nearly one hundred year old theater, and there are some nice ocean views from the upper level. Our guide was excellent, and it was wonderful to take a step back in time and learn about the history of this beautiful place.

Del Mar Race Track is a popular, long time Thoroughbred track that was once a hangout spot for Hollywood's biggest stars. It has a race season in November called The Bing Crosby season. Sundays are free admission and any day is fine to go and see some great racing.Plenty of parking and easy to get to.

We had a superb three days at Barona Resort and Casino The king size rooms are very comfortable, Its also fun to see the golf course and watch the hawks flying by and sometimes sitting on the railing of the small balcony. We had received from Barona a happy birthday package - that included two nights stay dinner at their Italian Restaurant, as well as $50 in cash. That was very nice The dinner was amazing with lots of food. On our desserts, they placed a Happy Birthday Chocolate. We enjoyed playing in their casino One of the days there was Father's Day and it was a 7x day. We had fun. We also dined at Sage Cafe, their 24 hour restaurant, and also went to Barona Coffee Company in their food court area. Staff is very nice. We also in the last few months received a Norwegian Cruise Lines certificate from theme for a free cruise. We're going to cruise to Cabo San Lucas. All in all this is a very well run resort. They offer complementary juices, coffee, etc. when playing. I like it that this casino does offer wine in their fine dining restaurants as well as in your hotel room. There are NOT bars in the casino, which his a refreshing change. Overall Barona Casino is our favorite casino in the San Diego area.

We’ve stayed here a few times in the Willows hotel in a Suite and it was Amazing. Huge room with a separate living room, 2 large screen TVs and the bathroom has the biggest shower with full rain type shower heads. Love it and booked again in May Also we love their Covid safety protocols which include having your temp taken when entering the casino or from your hotel room into the casino, every other slot machine is turned off for social distancing, table games have plexi glass partitions surrounding you and in front of the dealer and they constantly clean the table areas the minute someone gets up from a seat or when you give the dealer money you have to use hand disinfectant...Felt totally safe every time we’ve gone

This was our first visit to the Sycuan Hotel. We had a deluxe corner suite overlooking the pool area on one side and the mountains the other side. Beautiful view and room! I will return and highly recommend this hotel. Wonderfully appointed and super comfortable. The only problem we had was miscommunication between the pool bar and the hotel. The bartender did not know that we should have been able to charge to our room. My husband had to go back to our room and get a charge card...this wasn't necessary. We notified the hotel at check out and they confirmed that they could have charged our room.

If you want a fun betting atmosphere, go down the escalator and there are 4 or 5 tables next to the club so the music is booming and it has more energy. Also, there is a hidden keg of beer behind the table and you have to ask the pit boss for a glass.

Nice staff and best craps odds and minimums in town, A healthy pleasant and safe walk from the other casino action at Harrah's, Harvey's, and Hard Rock. There is a bus, but it runs too infrequently to be useful. The special at the Timbers Restaurant is fantastic, and the nearby sushi place is Wow.

We went to Casino Pauma for dinner with some friends. The Buffet is small but makes up for it size by serving great food at a lower cost. They have a different food theme (selection) for each day. They recently started a Lobster Buffet on Fridays. Have not been yet, but Some friends went and said that it was great too. In all a Great place to eat.
