Visited 3 times now, flown here in January 2019 and I can say what a brilliant little airfield it is. Skyward training were fantastically accommodating and inspired me to start my PPL to fulfil my dream of becoming and RAF Pilot. Let’s hope this airfield continues to expand with its new hangers etc. Great museum as well, thanks guys ✈️????????????????????????????????

Had an amazing visit to the Christmas Ice Bar where Chef John hosted us for nearly 3 hours (we talked a lot and asked lots of questions!) He took the time to explain each dish, where he had sourced the ingredients and how best to cook/ serve it. The atmosphere was informal but still felt like a real occasion. The food was delicious - lots of flavours in each small plate that left you satisfied but not stuffed. Nothing was too much trouble and all dietary requirements were overcome with inventiveness. Whilst it was our first time, the majority of the diners were repeat guests. No wonder these events are sold out months in advance. We’ll be back. Go - you won’t regret it!!

I booked the gin experience as a surprise birthday treat for my husband - and got to share in the fun!! Excellent way to spend the afternoon. Our thanks to Ryan, gin master, who made the session really good fun whilst being information and educating us on the art of all things gin!! Got to sample lots of different gins, make our own full size bottle, and had a really lovely goody bag to take away at the end. Highly recommend it - and Happy Birthday Ryan for today!!
