I'll start by saying I was in pain and needed fixing. My knees had taken some abuse but this wasn't why I went. I try and have a regular massage and Patchara had been recommended. I sniggered, "Thai massage, you're havin' a laugh." The reply "No, seriously, give it a go, it's not like that" So I gave it a go. Apparently, the owner was my masseuse (although I've been back a few times and there are several different therapists,) and quite early in the massage she found my dodgy knees. That's when the torture started! By middle of the next day, the improvement was immeasurable. My inner thighs were tender where she'd literally stood on them but they eased as the days moved on. "You come back next week for 2 hour, we need to fix knee" was her words as I was leaving. With the next day improvement, I rang and booked for 2 hours. The following week I turned up for my session and was a little disappointed to be assigned a different therapist. Disappointed for no other reason than I don't particularly like change and I'm a bit awkward with small talk. But this therapist immediately found the same tendons to torture. Now for the unexpected, the owner came in and started on the other leg! Torture by two at once! After about an hour (at a guess) legs done, the owner left and the massage continued, back, neck arms and head but at an agreeable, non-painful pressure! Fantastic. I can't recommend it enough.
