The front nine into the prevailing wind is one of the toughest nines in the UK. This was a practice round for the Bramshaw junior team in advance of their Home Nations regional qualifier and well worth the trip with so many blind shots.

Excellent clean Beach with plenty of space to run with the dog. There is also a lovely place called the Sundowner Beach bar to stop for a drink and food. You can sit on one of the benches that faces out to the beach and sea.

Brean Golf Club

Well priced and well maintained. Potentially not as challenging if you’re a decent player as it’s a fairly short course but it’s packed with hazards like streams and ponds which also makes it a picturesque few hours in the sun.
