Clean and simple beach like many on the Island. Some chairs were available (june). Maybe more service will be available later on during the high season. Two restaurants were open, both simple but ok.

If you compare with anothers beachs in Sardinia, perhaps it is not one of the best; but the sand is white, clean, and not dangerous. If you go in August, will be a lot of people.

Spiaggia di Su Tiriarzu

Reviewed By chocdikrab - Frankfurt, Germany

we came to su tiriarzu in the arely afternoon. the parking area is not far away and costs 3 euro for the whole day. the beach itself is seperated by a small river and over a wooden bridge we came trough the main entrance on the beach. wooden pathes lead the visitors to the left and right direction and at the end of the pathes there are located beachbars who offer suneds and umbrellas for high prices. the music was very loud and we thoght we were stranded in the middle of a beach discothek. so we walked some hundred meter more in direction of the southend of su tiriarzu and there we had our traquillity. the beach is very long and straight and so bigger waves arrived at the beach and it made fun to play with. the water is crystaclear and shows different types of green and blue, but is is only a narrow stripe, because the water get deep quickly. the beach drops steeply and fast to the sea and su tiriarzu is not realy a place for families with children. there are no shadowzones on the beach and a umbrella and sun protection is absolutely necessary. further a cooling bag with some drinks shoud by your side also, because the Beach Bar is expensive. toilettes we didn´t found, but in the beachbars should be one.
we can recomment su tiriarzu not realy. for tourists who looking for fun at the beach the beachbars might be perfect, but for people who looking for tranquillity there are much more better places in the surrounding

Baia Sant'Anna

The coastline and pine trees are absolutely lovely. However, there is a well-established and attractive residential area on one side of the entrance road and a development in progress on the other. The new development is too dense and is in danger of spoiling the area. The coastline is protected but in my opinion the development taking place at the moment is not in keeping with the area. Perhaps it will soften as plants and bushes are planted in the garden but the overall impression at the present time is that the area is being spoiled by the developers.

spiaggia di Posada

Superb beach, with several access points. We took the road straight down from Posada. There was a free car park and toilets as you walked through to the beach, across the lagoon on a small bridge.
On the beach there a couple of sun bed rental places (around €18 for day with an umbrella and 2 beds), a bar and a few people with their own umbrellas/beach mats etc, then it’s just empty for 200-300m before you reach the next access point with a similar set up. You can walk right the way down to La Caletta town and port.

David really gives his all, and he seems to be very funny. He looks like a really charismatic guy. However, it's about 30 seconds in English and then 15 minutes in Italian, that made it really hard for us to appreciate the jokes and the show. During the first hours we were disguised and disappointed, but the Beaches were wonderful and the cave really magnificent, and right in time, we really needed the rest from the sun. If you go to Grotta del fig, be aware of the fact that the gudie there doesn't speak English either, so you must use a device with a recored voice to approximate the tour. When we got there they only had two in English left, and were rude .
But, but the tickets for the caves, and all at the entrance for the recorded guide.
We bought the tickets the same morning worth a discount, don't count on it later in July/August.
Tale your Seating in front of the middle, so you better can hear what he says (might be in English when you go :)

Castello della Fava

Narrow uphill charming cobble stone streets with small gifts and souvenirs shops, some restaurants and cafes, lead to the castle. On the way, the very humble medieval church S. Antonia Abate. It looked like the walk was tough to reach the top and it was too hot. So we enjoyed the view from the bottom of the castle.
