What to do and see in Bucharest, Romania: The Best Shopping Malls

September 26, 2021 Sachiko Swiger

Vlad the Impaler stated his claim to Bucharest in 1459. His citadel on the Dambovita was the first of flotillas of palaces, many of which still stand. Four subway lines and a modern bus network transport visitors and commuters. Nicknamed "Little Paris", Bucharest's elegant early 20th-century architecture shows French influences. Don't miss the Village Museum, Romanian Athenaeum and the Peasant Museum. You can't miss the Palace of Parliament, the second-largest building in the world (after the Pentagon).

Even though a bit far from the city center, it has all the known brands and some more local brands. Wonderful food courts with a very nice variety of food options. There are lockers just in front of the main entrance. Lockers are in several sizes and you can even store your trolley case. That enables you to live your shopping bags, coats etc. and shop hands-free.I found the prices avarage, unless its sale time.

This place has good selection of stores, however, what sets it apart from the other malls in Bucharest, is its creative interior architecture and decor, around the large food court. Really nice looking and enjoyable!
