What to do and see in Brussels, Belgium: The Best Bike Tours

March 5, 2022 Osvaldo Hartline

Unassuming Brussels is the capital of Belgium, Flanders and Europe. Medieval Grand-Place, is indeed grand, with many 17th-century buildings and daily flower markets. Reopened in 2006, the Atomium, Brussels' Eiffel Tower, provides great views, inside and out. Architecture fans should visit Musee Horta, home of Belgian master architect Victor Horta. St. Gery's clubs and bars are packed year-round. Seafood eateries abound in Ste. Catherine. Walk, rather than get snarled up in traffic, in the narrow streets.

Explore Brussels

Explore.Brussels is a network of associations that organise top-quality guided tours in the Brussels-Capital Region. It was created in 1994 and became a non-profit association in 2015. Its member associations are ARAU, Arkadia, Brussels Chatterguides and Pro Velo. In 2020, La Fonderie joins the network as a partner association. Explore.Brussels is an information hub for the associations: it combines their programmed guided tours for individuals and their ranges of guided tours for groups and publishes one centralised resource for individuals and groups looking for guided tours, enabling them to find information more easily than by consulting the individual associations, and ensuring they are offered the full range of themes available at no extra cost and without generating unnecessary competition between the associations. The overall shared objective is to promote the tangible and intangible heritage of the Brussels-Capital Region.
