What to do and see in Bournemouth, England: The Best Things to do Good for Big Groups

December 31, 2021 Lean Nau

Bournemouth’s seven miles of beach and exceptionally warm microclimate make it a favorite of U.K. travelers. There’s something for everyone here, whether you’re a watersports fanatic (try surfing lessons!) or just want to let your kids splash around in the calm waters. For a traditional Bournemouth vacation, rent a classic beach hut.

Marvo Mysteries Escape Room Bournemouth

Teams of 3-8 players must search for clues, solve the mystery, recover the Artifact and try to Escape all before their time runs out. We will take you on an adventure to remember, or one you will never forget.

Reviewed By Willpr

From the entry instructions, your adventure starts... Entering the loading bay and into the reception you are blown away with the attention to detail. Artifacts, maps, trinkets and discoveries fill cabinets and the walls for you to look at whilst you wait. Lizzie was fantastic at pointing out "Harry Potter" discoveries to our daughter, who was nervous, and put her at ease. The briefing done, we enter and the adventure begun... no spoilers here, but I shall say, the hour whizzed by and we escaped with 4 minutes to spare! The attention to detail is outstanding, not an inch of space is wasted, and some items are used two or three times. With plenty of "oh that's what it's for" and "we need to find" moments you are busy from start till finish. I am honestly in awe of the ingenuity of the creators, as this is something else! Highly atmospheric and like playing a real life version of Myst with some aspects of the Crystal Maze, Indiana Jones and The Room all in one. Loads of puzzles, loads of secrets, and loads of clever technical stuff. You need to work as a team, and help each other, but there is no space for anyone to take a back seat as you all have to help in parts. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and wish there was more to do! We are looking forward to the new experience as we will be back to tackle that one too! Highly recommended as this is an escape room I doubt can be beaten!

Be At One Cocktail Bar

Cocktails by the sea! What could be better? We specialise in great cocktails, served with a smile and to a great soundtrack With over 150 drinks available, you're sure to find one you like!

We attended Be at One Bournemouth on 4th December for a birthday party. We had arranged this on short notice and the venue had been really accommodating - even allowing us to attend with a slightly smaller number than the minimum required for a class, which we were extremely grateful for. We had a great time making cocktails and this was largely due to our amazing host Jack. Jack was incredibly friendly and funny. He matched our level of enthusiasm, which only enhanced the brilliant time we were already having. Jack was a fabulous but equally fun teacher. He spent a lot of time and was very patient with us, and most of all felt like part of our group - which made the evening feel super comfortable and at ease. Fantastic evening out. Lovely team. Would highly recommend to all.

Surf Steps

How to describe it? I’m not sure, and even if I could, I wouldn’t do it justice. When you stand up on your first wave it is the uncontrollable, throw your hands in the air and scream feeling, if only for a few seconds!! Once you can ride a wave, it is the undeniable urge to go back for more, and when you are on the beach and the sun is shining it is enormous fun!! Learn to surf...the only way you can really understand what all the fuss is about is to get some gear and get wet!! That’s where we can help.
