The Vole Hall is a small local pub frequented by locals and visitors alike and you can be sure of a friendly welcome, good selection of beer and wine at reasonable prices, and you can even have a hand sliced saucisson served. Take away pizzas are available from a nearby restaurant and if you're lucky, Benoit, a great character will be there to serve you. Very enjoyable !

As one might guess from its title this garden shifts and changes to suit the seasons and other events in town. During our last visit it was being dressed for Christmas and it was amazing to see the amount of work involved in getting everything ready. One can enjoy the gardens outside on nicer days or from the excellent Cafe de la Mairie if it is raining. Say hello to the little dog if you visit the cafe!

For 160 years, the Notre-Dame basilica has dominated the city with its vertiginous dome. Very old cathedral, thirteen century, a must see if you are in Boulogne, located in the old town in the fortress part of the town. To also see, the cemetery of the East and the town of Wimereux, Wissant and Guines along the coast facing England.

I have had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful beach several years running. Each time, the weather has been very hot and not just warm. The sand is lovely to walk on and the beach is not dirty. I would certainly recommend a visit.
