Community is the word here. EVERY penny raised from the sale of their quirky, vintage, retro items goes to the Community. The sale tickets are often naughty but always funny

So much memorabilia in such a small museum, itself housed in an old pub. Brilliant resource centre and refreshments available. Will visit again when it reopens in spring.

Wheatsheaf Bognor Regis

Our pub is at the heart of the local community, a place where families can relax together and enjoy some pub grub, we have a kids menu and a golden years menu for those with a smaller appetite. Food is not all we do at The Wheatsheaf, we have regular charity fundraisers including our summer fun day, Christmas hamper raffle and much more. Still not convinced our bar area, away from the restaurant has a big projector screen to watch all the best sporting action, we hold various entertainment nights, live music, discos etc. Pop in, say hello, enjoy a drink and make some friends along the way.

Took me back to my childhood, walking barefoot in the warmth of the shallows, lovely firm sand and then the excrutiating pain of struggling up the shingle to get back to the promenade. Memories are made of this.

Pagham Beach

Reviewed By paperclipp

Ok, it was hot on Sunday. Looking for the nearest beach to my holiday stay I found Pagham. Easy (disabled friendly) parking, clean public loos, Co-Op shop, cafes, food, beach shop (to buy beach shoes for paddling on the pebbles) so everything you might need within 200ms of the beach which has easy access for all abilities. The beach was super clean, the sea clearer than those in the Mediterranean - I saw fish spry - and the sea warm enough to paddle or swim without a wet suit. Lots to gaze at on the water sitting next to the yacht club. Perfect!
