Lanhydrock House and Garden

This 19th-century high-Victorian country house is one of the most fascinating in England. Colourful gardens, riverside walks and family friendly cycle trails.

Went today as a family with two kids, eight and ten. Kids loved it saying it was 'fun and a bit scary!' ???? So well done, some great true stories are told with special effects (creating an immersive experience) and you get to see lots of cells with interesting info about some of the previous inhabitants and their daily lived experience. Might be a bit gruesome for little ones I suppose, but we really enjoyed it!!! Great gift shop too!!! We'll definitely be returning. Thank you Bodmin Jail x
