Went on the skycoaster with my partner for his birthday treat. I was dreading it but was surprised at how much I actually enjoyed it. The team of guys and girls that strap you in and see you through the experience are lovely and friendly and explain what to do very clearly. Can't reccomend this ride enough. So glad my fella pushed me to try it.

Escape Room Centre

An escape room is a 'race against the clock' team game for 2 to 6 players. Each escape room has a different scenario, you might be trying solve the mysteries of an Egyptian pyramid, investigating an MI6 spy, tracking down an urn of ashes or trying to defuse a bomb! You'll have 60 minutes find the clues, solve the puzzles, break the codes and escape. Teamwork is key, only by helping each other will you achieve your goal - can you do it?

Took my 13 year old for an escape room experience as we both like playing them on our phones. We chose the secret of the tomb room where we had to find an urn of ashes and place them in the correct resting place!! On arrival we were prepped on our mission and introduced to our guide, a lady called Shannon who was watching us from another room on a camera and available for clues if we needed them (we did!!) We escaped with 10 seconds to spare, the tension was real completing that last task to get the code to open the door!! Would definitely recommend the experience and we will definitely be going back to try another room soon!!

Pasaje Del Terror

Pasaje Del Terror is an interactive and realistic horror experience. A walk through horror show with live actors in which groups of around 8-10 people embark on a terrifying journey, without any guide, through a labyrinth of hair-raising shocks and surprises. A theatrical setting arranged into 20 sets and with around 18 actors lurking in the darkness. The realism of the scenes, the multiple special effects and the shocking energy with which these characters appear out of nowhere will leave you breathless and trembling until you find the exit.

So my friends (Theme Park Nomads) and my partner and I (8-bit family) went and did Journey To Hell: Freak Nights at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The night itself was a VERY mixed bag- but the finale was of course a trip through Pasaje Del Terror. After a strange long tedious night, we were DESPERATE for some scares. Now, this was October evening, and we had been outside for best part of three hours, including being sprayed with water, being made to kneel in the cold, being shouted at- so we were not in the best of moods. In our wait to enter Pasaje we were entertained by undoubtedly one of our highlights of the entire ordeal. Lantern Man, as we collectively nicknamed him (later found his name is Antony) was BRILLIANT. We were cold and tired but our lantern-wielding guide made us laugh through the whole queue. He dealt with our comebacks with equally clever banter, he stayed in character the whole time, and made us PLEASE, whoever is in charge, give him a raise. The actual attraction was amazing. As avid horror fans, we loved all the references and Easter eggs, every room was themed beautifully and it was genuinely terrifying. Every scare actor was perfectly in character and clearly knew their character well. It truly ended our strange long cold night on a high. If you love horror, like a good scare, or just fancy something different, please give this attraction a go! And thank you, Lantern Man- May your light never go out!
