Bar snacks and restaurant meals are always excellent. Very filling. Friendly staff and despite the fact that it is a casino the prices very reasonable

We visited Coral Island as a family with two children and had a fantastic time there. Was easy to find Coral Island thanks to it's prime location and dramatic skull and Coral Island sign which looks brilliant at night. Kids loved the pirate theme and loved being little pirates on the Pirate Flyer. Surprised by how many different rides, games and arcade machines they had on offer. The kids loved the variety of attractions on offer especially the 2p slot machines, arcade games (especially racing and shooting ones), VR game, Ghost Train and Pirate Flyer ride, family friendly bingo and the Camel Derby. The place was very clean and tidy. Staff were on hand to help with any issues for example one of the games would not accept our money and a member of staff quickly fixed it for us. Staff were not only helpful but approachable and friendly. On one of our visits there on our last night at Blackpool I stayed at the attraction till late with just myself and two kids and we all felt safe and comfortable even though it was still busy and very late. We ate at Captain Jack's Bar and Grill where the kids ate for free thanks to the promo of kids eat free at all restaurants at Coral Island. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly and ensured the tables were cleared as soon as customers had left/finished with their food. The food was tasty and well cooked and we all enjoyed our meals. Appreciated the fact that the over 18's area with casino and gambling machines was separate from the rest of the arcade, with staff ensuring those under 18 did not enter. Spent a good few hours at Coral Island and the kids loved it so much we returned again the next day. They loved winning on the Camel Derby and had fun collecting tickets from the other machines to exchange for prizes. Prizes varied in cost of tickets and it would have taken a lots of time, money and luck to get a decent amount for the bigger prizes but my kids were happy to stick to their budget and loved the small prizes they got - keyrings, sweets and a toy car. Will definiately visit again when we have another holiday in Blackpool as we all had a great, fun time there as a family.
