Tinuy-an Falls

Reviewed By emailuch - Zurich, Switzerland

The falls are considered the widest in the Philippines. In fact there are a few cascades of the falls which makes them truly spectacular. In December the current was not very strong so it was easy to enjoy a refreshing bath in the falls. Great fun. Slow motion. Not a lot of people. A bit challenging to get there as the road from town is not very good and it’s not near but well worth the visit. One of the highlights of the region!

Bislig Baywalk

Reviewed By Jake2014jake - Pasig, Philippines

The Baywalk is a place for strolling, or simply lounging about, with a great view of the sea, which is the attraction's best feature. There is also a small souvenir shop/snacks store. The view of the sea, of course, provides good photo opportunities, as well as the"I love Bislig" sign, to serve as your remembrance of your visit.

Sian Falls

Reviewed By Brian Chester L - Davao City, Philippines

This place takes your foot and a private car (or tricycle) to one of Bisligs secluded Waterfalls. You won't find a mob of people swimming or lazing about the area as you would other destinations near it. Only one 'tree house' is situated near the falls for large groups of people. No bathrooms, so those who need to change might want to go to the nearest bush or bring large towels.
Also, since this is a secluded place, their are no lifeguards to watch over visitors swimming or traversing the different levels of the Waterfalls.

Hinayagan Cave

Reviewed By tajine0105 - Bislig, Philippines

this cave according to a good source is the longest here in Mindanao. of course that is not yet confirmed but according to the person, geologists who inspected the cave said so. anyway, had been here once with special permission from the tourism office. they sometimes close the cave for safety reasons. there are still more work to do here to ensure safety. how to get there? one has to travel from mangagoy - take a multicab ride from the terminal (near the public market) and pay Php20 alight at Scaling. from there, hop on to a single motor and tell the driver you are going to Delot. tha place where the cave is. once you are there, you have to walk into the forest for about10 minutes. and welcome to the mouth of the cave. enjoy and be vigilant of the waters. when it's high tide from the river nearby, water goes in. it is advised that you take someone with you. check with the local tourism office if the cave is open for tourists. sometimes it is off limits.
